Sub: Launch of Promotion for Selection Posts sub-module of HRMS.
The sub-module of UPID (Unified Digital Interface for Promotion) Module of HRMS for promotion of non-selection posts was launched vide Board’s letter dated 30.06.2025.
2. Now, the development of sub-module for Promotion for Selection Posts through UDIP Module of HRMS has been completed and the same has been successfully tested in pilot mode by CRIS.
3. It has now been decided by the competent authority that the Promotion for Selection Posts sub-module of UDIP module of HRMS be launched w.e.f. 1st November, 2025.
4. Following the launch of the aforesaid sub-module, it is advised that all processing regarding promotion for selection as well as non-selection posts shall be invariably carried out only through UDIP Module of HRMS and no physical or manual processing shall be done across Indian Railways from 1st November, 2025. Detailed User Manual of the sub-module shall be made available on HRMS portal.
5. Training on the promotion for selection posts sub-module has already been imparted to all the Railways and Field Units. However, if any further assistance is required by the Field Units, they may contact HRMS team of CRIS who will depute suitable technical resources.
