Sub: Complete bedroll kit (linen & blanket) to RAC passengers.

Ref: Railway Board’s letters of even number dated 18.12.2023, 12.12.2017 & 16.11.2016 (copies enclosed).

Kindly connect to Railway Board’s letters under reference making provision of complete bedroll kits (linen & blanket) to each RAC passenger travelling in AC Classes (except AC Chair Car).

2. Complaints regarding non-provision/inadequate bedroll kits to RAC passengers are still being received through various channels.

3. In view of above, it is reiterated that Railway Board’s instructions may be ensured that every RAC passenger travelling in AC Classes (except AC Chair Car) is provided with a complete bedroll kit at par with other bona fide passengers travelling in the coach.

4. The above instructions may be brought to the notice of all concerned for strict compliance.
