Kindly refer this office letter under reference — (01) wherein, instructions have been issued regarding regularization of absence period of officers/staff due to lockdown in view of COVID-19.

2. In continuation to above instructions, it is clarified that the absence during the period from 22.03.2020 to 24.03.2020 will be treated as per instructions issued vide letter dtd. 07.04.2020.

a) If any staff is staying out of his/her headquarters without any permission from competent authority, his/her case is to be guided by the said circular.

b) Where somebody is staying out of his/her Headquarters with permission of competent authority, his/her case may be examined as case to case basis.

c) Further, if trains were available they were supposed to come and attend duty.

3. This order is provisional and subject to further order/ guidelines of Railway Board that may be issued in this regard.

This has the approval of PCPO.
