Sub: Celebration of the “Constitution Day” on 26 November, 2021 and other activities.

As you are aware, our country is celebrating its 75th year of Independence as the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. This year to commemorate the day of adoption of our Constitution the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) is being organized with “Jan Bhagidari’ on a mega scale.
Hon’ble President of India will be leading the celebration of Constitution Day live from Central Hall of Parliament on 26th November, 2021 from 11:00 AM onwards. The occasion will be graced by Hon’ble Vice-President, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Hon’ble Speaker, Ministers, MPs and other dignitaries and the whole of India will be a part of these celebrations through live streaming of the functions on Sansad TV/DD/Other TV Channels and Online Portals.
All the Railways should organize various activities relating to the celebration of the Constitution Day in line with the instructions stipulated in letter Dt. 13.11.2021 of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs (copy enclosed). Suitable instructions may kindly be issued to all the other — offices/Attached offices/Autonomous Bodies/Subordinate Offices/Organizations/Institutions etc. under your jurisdiction to read the Preamble of the Constitution along with the Hon’ble President on 26th November 2021 and visit the following two portals being developed by the Ministry of Parliament Affairs.

Portal for “Online Quiz on Constitution Democracy” (https://Constitutionquiz.nic.in)
These portals (to be operationalized soon) will be accessible to everybody and anyone can participate and get certificates. These portals may be given wide publicity.
- Webinars/Any other program or activity /workshops may also be organized benefitting the occasion while giving wide publicity and keeping the COVID protocols in mind.
- Due publicity may kindly be given on this occasion through hoarding/banners at all Railway Stations and other establishments (Designs/text will be sent shortly)
A portal is being developed for Ministries/Departments of Govt. of India to upload action plan of activities to be undertaken by them and reports thereof with number of participants (Details of portal will be shared shortly). Compliance Report/feedback of the activities of the celebrations of the Constitution Day may be advised on the email id [email protected] and photographs/ videos of the activities may also be uploaded positively.
