Sub: Appeal of Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare to donate minimum of Rs. 200/- to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF).
Please find enclosed a copy of O.M. No. A-28011/124/2011-Ad.III dated 26.10.2021 along with DO No. 7 (7)2020-D (Res-II) dt. 10.09.2021 of Dr. Pudi Hari Prasad, Joint Secretary, Department of Ex — Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, received from Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension (Department of Personnel Training) on the above cited subject for information & necessary action. The appeal made by Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare may be brought to the notice of all the officers & staff of the Indian Railways.
Department of Ex Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence in its letter dt.10.09.2021 (copy enclosed) has requested to kindly solicit the cooperation of officers and staff to voluntarily donate a minimum amount of Rs.200/- out of their salaries for the month of November, 2021 so that the amount so collected is available before the Flag Day i.e. 7 December, 2021. The contributions may please be sent by 2 Dec. 2021, to Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat, West Block 4, Wing 7, R.K. Puram, New Delhi -110066.
