Sub: Amendment in provisions related to Holiday Homes- Chapter XXII of IREM VoII (Revised Edition-1990).
Ref:Board’s letter No. E(W)/2000/WE-2/2 dated 07.12.2000 (RBE No. 212/2000).
The annual outlay limit of ₹10 Lakh prescribed under Para 2220 of Chapter-XXII (Staff Welfare), Section C of the Indian Railway Establishment Manual Volume II (Revised Edition-1990) was circulated vide Board’s letter cited under reference. It has now been decided with the approval of the Competent Authority to revise the existing limit-of annual outlay from 210 Lakh to ₹35 Lakh.
2 Accordingly, Para 2220 of IREM Voll (Revised Edition-1990) is amended as per Advance Correction Slip (enclosed).
3. This will take effect from ‘the date of issue of this letter. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
4. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

Para-2220 may be modified as follows:
“Amount of Rs.10 Lakh appearing in Sub-Paras (i) and (iii) may be amended to be read as Rs.35 Lakh (Rupees Thirty-Five Lakh only).”
