Sub: Request for payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for the year 2025-26 before Durga Puja – regarding.
Respected Sir,
We would like to draw your kind attention to the forthcoming festive seasca and the expectations of the employees of the Department of Posts regarding timely payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for the year 2025-26.
As you are aware, Durga Puja will commence from 17 October 2026 while Dussehra will be celebrated on 21 October 2026. Durga Puja and Dussehra are among the most important festivals celebrated across different parts of the country and the festive period involves considerable additional expenditure for employees and their families.
The employees of the Department of Posts are therefore, earnestly looking forward to receiving their PL Bonus for the year 2025-26 before the commencement of Durga Puja, so that they may meet their financial commitments and celebrate the festival with their families in a meaningful manner.
In view of the above, the JCPE requests that all necessary arrangements be made to disburse the PL Bonus amount to all eligible employees of the Department of Posts on or before October 17, 2026 for the year 2025-26.
Early payment of the bonus would provide considerable financial relief to the employees and would also demonstrate the Departments concern for their welfare particularly during the important festival period.
We, therefore, request your good office to kindly accord the matter due priority and take appropriate action for ensuring payment of the PL Bonus 2025-26 before 17 October 2026.
An early and favourable action in the matter is earnestly solicited.
