Sub: Circulation of fake/fabricated Railway Board letter regarding payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for the financial year 2025-26
A letter purportedly issued by the Railway Board, bearing RBE No. 101/2026 dated 06.10.2026, regarding payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) to eligible non-gazetted Railway employees for the financial year 2025-26, has come to the notice of the Railway Board. The said letter, which has been issued under the forged signature of the undersigned, is also being widely circulated on social media and through various messaging platforms
It is hereby clarified that the aforesaid letter is fake/fabricated and has not been issued by the Railway Board. The contents of the said letter, including the purported sanction of Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days’ wages and payment of ₹41,149/-, are unauthorised and shall not be acted upon or taken into cognisance by any Zonal Railway, Production Unit or other Railway office.
All Zonal Railways, Production Units and other concerned offices are, therefore, advised to disregard the said fake/fabricated letter in its entirety and ensure that no action is taken or payment is made on the basis of the same.
The contents of this communication may be brought to the notice of all concerned officers and staff for information and necessary caution. The authenticity of any communication regarding payment of PLB may be verified through the official website of the Ministry of Railways/Railway Board at https://indianrailways.gov.in/railwayboard/ or https://indianrailways.gov.in/ before taking any action thereon. No action shall be taken or payment made on the basis of any communication circulated through social media, messaging platforms or other unauthorised sources.
