Subject: IGOT Karmayogi Courses on Right to Information for PIOS/FAAs/Nodal Officers – reg
A copy of DoP&T OM bearing No. 11/18/2026-IR-I dated 03.09.2026 on the above subject along with its Annexure is forwarded herewith for your information, guidance and compliance please.
2. DoP&T has informed that the courses/ training programmes related to RTI available on iGOT Karmayogi Platform have been identified for capacity building of PIOs/FAAs/Nodal officers. The courses cover aspects of RTI implementation, including statutory provisions of the RTI Act, processing and disposal of RTI applications, exemptions and disclosures, transfer of applications, handling of third party information, appeals and maintenance of records.
3. In the above context, it is requested that the concerned CPIOS/FAAs/Nodal Officers under your administrative control may be suitably apprised of the aforesaid courses. Newly appointed/designated CPIOs may particularly be advised to complete the prescribed training at the earliest.
4. Other officers of your organization may also be encouraged to undertake the available iGOT Karmayogi-RTI courses, as considered appropriate as envisaged in the ibid DOP&T OM.
