Sub: Periodical Transfer of staff – clarifications reg.
Attention of PCPO’s is drawn to two letters no. E(NG)I-2020/TB/3 dated 23rd Sept, 2021 and No, E(NG)I-2020/TR/2 dated 24th Sept, 2021 (copies enclosed) regarding periodical transfer of staff which are being circulated on whatsapp and social media.
It is hereby reiterated that these letters are fake and have not been issued from this office. Zonal Railways may kindly ensure that this is brought to the notice of all concerned tor further necessary action.

With reference to Board’s letter of even No. dated 22.06.2021, as referred above on cited subject, Railways were advised that the unimplemented periodical transfer orders of the staff working on sensitive posts be reviewed and pended fill 30.09.2021 due to the extra ordinary situation created by the pandemic COVID-19.
In view of the ongoing pandemic situation, on request from both the Federations i.e. AIRF & NFIR, the matter has been further reviewed by the Board, and it has been decided by the Competent Authority that the periodical transfer orders of the staff working on sensitive posts be pended till 30th December, 2021.

Reference to the above it is to clarify that a letter which is being shared widely, in which it has been instructed not to transfer the Staff working in sensitive posts till 30th December 2021 is completely fake and not issued from Railway Board.
Request from both the Federations ie ALRF & NFIR was received in which it was requested not to transfer the staff due to the extra ordinary situation created by the pandemic COVID 19 .
Matter has been further reviewed by the Board. and it has been decided by the Competent Authority that the staff working on sensitive posts can transferred after 30th Sept, 2021 without hampering administrative work.
