Ref: Northern Railway’s Letter No.98-G/M-SOP/RB Corrs./2024-25 dated 12.09.2025.

Vide letter under reference, Northern Railway has brought out a contradiction between Board’s letter No.F(E)I/2025/AL-28/4 dated 29.04.2025 and No.2022/F(X)II/PW/1 dated 10.04.2023 & 26.04.2023. As per the letter dated 29.04.2025, Finance concurrence is necessary for Air Travel for officers in level-13 and below while in terms of letters dated 10.04.2023 & 26.04.2023, no finance concurrence is required for Air Travel for officers and Senior Supervisors under Gati Shakti Works.
2. The matter has been examined in consultation with Gati Shakti Finance Directorate. For the sake of uniformity, consistency and financial discipline with respect to the entitlement in the field unit, especially considering the migration of Gati Shakti Units to Construction Organisation, powers delegated vide latest Board’s letter No.F(E)I/2025/AL-28/4 dated 29.04.2025, will be applicable to GS Units as well.
