Sub:- Re-iteration of instructions regarding reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) in civil posts and services in the Government of India (Ministry of Railways).
Ref:- Board’s letter of even No. dated 07.02.2019, RBE No. 21/2019(copy enclosed).
Attention is invited to Board’s letter of even number dated 07.02.2019 (RBE No. 21/2019), wherein DoP&T’s instructions contained in O.M. No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res.) dated 31.01.2019 on the above mentioned subject were circulated for compliance.
2. The instructions contained in Board’s letter dated 07.02.2019 (RBE No. 21/2019) is hereby re-iterated for ‘nformation and strict compliance of all the Zonal Railways, PSUs and PUs with emphasis on timely verification of EWS certificates of employees, at the time of their appointment and appropriate action may be taken in cases where the EWS claim is found to be false/fake.
