Sub: Seeking of opinion / input from Recognized Associations and Unions by the Committee constituted to examine the issue related to introduction of National Pension System (NPS) in respect of BSNL recruited employees in lieu of existing Superannuation Pension Fund invested with LIC of India.

A Committee has been constituted to examine the issue related to introduction of National Pension System (NPS) in respect of BSNL recruited employees in lieu of existing Superannuation Pension Fund invested with LIC of India. In this regard, some documents containing the salient features of NPS as submitted by LIC of India and HDFC Pension Fund Management Ltd. are hereby provided for your reference. In this regard, the committee desires to seek opinion or any input from the Recognized Associations and Unions on this issue before finalizing the recommendations.

2. It is therefore, requested that your opinion / input may be communicated to the Committee in writing latest by 22-10-2025.
