विषय: 2nd National Workshop on Pension Litigation convened on 18th July 2026 – reg.
Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare has convened 2nd National Workshop on Pension Litigation on July 18, 2026 at Ambedkar International Centre new Delhi. It was attended by more than 380 Nodal Officers and Legal Counsels handling the pension litigation across various Ministries/Departments.
2. Two technical sessions were convened, on “Pension Litigation in Hon’ble CATS/HCs” focussing on systemic reforms for mitigating recurring litigation, handling of high impact issues, Contempts, Appeals and on “Pension litigation management” with discussion on DLA Directives dated 04.04.2025, strengthening pre litigation grievance redressal, use of AI technology, capacity building, policy reforms, pensioners welfare etc. The Workshop was addressed by Hon’ble MoS(PP), Ld. AGI, Secretary (Law), Secretary (ESW), Ld ASG and other eminent senior CGSCs and officers.
