National Cadet Corps (Amendment) Rules, 2025 — Substantives promotions of Junior Wing Officers: Gazette Notification dated 24.10.2025

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th October, 2025

S.R.O. 38.––In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the National Cadet Corps Act, 1948 (31 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to further amend the National Cadet Corps Rule, 1948, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement :-

(i) These Rules may be called the National Cadet Corps (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the National Cadet Corps Rules (b), 1948, in the schedule III, in paragraph 2, fair sub-paragraph (b), the following sub paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-

(b) Junior Division Officers

On being first commissioned – Second Officer
After 8 years of commissioned service – First officer
After 15 years of commissioned Service – Chief Officer

Note :The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India , Part 1, Section 3, vide S.R.O 289 dated the 19th February 1949 and last amended Vide letter No. 0162/Policy/NCC HQ/MS (D)/59/D (GSVI) dt 12th January 2004.

का.जन.आ. 38.––ऱाष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 31) की धारा 13 द्वारा प्रयोग करते हुए, केंद्रीय सरकार राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर नियम, 1948 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्‍नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात् :-

1. संक्षिप्‍त शीर्षक और प्रारंभ –

(क) इन नियमों को राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर (संशोधन) नियम, 2025 कहा जाएगा।
(ख) ये नियम राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रवृत होंगे।

2. राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर नियम, 1948, अनुसूची III में, पैराग्राफ 2 में, स्‍वच्‍छ उप-पैराग्राफ (ख) के स्‍थान पर निम्ननिलिखत पैरा प्रतिस्‍थापित किया जाएगा अर्थात् :-

“(ख) कनिष्ठ डिवीजन अधिकारी :-

– प्रथम बार कमीश्न प्राप्त करने पर – द्वितीय अधिकारी
– कमीशन प्राप्‍त सेवा के 8 वर्ष पूरे होने पर – प्रथम अधिकारी
– कमीशन प्राप्त सेवा के 15 वर्ष पूरे होने पर – प्रमुख अजिकारी ”

टिप्पणी –मूल नियम भारत के राजपत्र, भाग I, खंड 3 में एस.आर.ओ. 289 दिनांक 19 फरवरी, 1949 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे तथा अंतिम बार पत्र सं. 0162/ Policy/NCC HQ/MS (D)/59/D(GS-VI) दिनांक 12 जनवरी, 2004 द्वारा संशोधित किए गए थे।
