Subject: Schedule of timelines for GDS Compassionate Engagement (CCE) Cycle in APT 2.0 – reg.
Please refer to Directorate letter No. 17-01/2017-GDS dated 07.01.2026 on the above-mentioned subject.
2. CEPT has informed that the existing GDS Compassionate Engagement cases have been successfully migrated to APT 2.0. A SOP was also shared with all Circles vide this office email dated 12.08.2026 with request to clear the discrepancies in the Compassionate engagement cases migrated from CCE portal IT 1.0 to APT 2.0 by 20.08.2026 for further processing the cases at CCE level. In view of the successful completion of the migration of Compassionate Engagement cases to APT 2.0, the GDS Compassionate Engagement Module is ready for the cases processing by the Divisional CCE w.e.f 01.09.2026.
3. Accordingly, the half-yearly schedule for processing Compassionate Engagement cases in the newly migrated portal, issued vide the ibid letter dated 07.01.2026, has been revised. The revised schedule is enclosed as Annexure-A.
4. All Circles are requested to ensure completion of all pending verification/processing of Compassionate Engagement cases by 31.08.2026 including cases received under one time relaxation scheme. CEPT is requested to complete the pending development activities and undertake adequate testing to ensure smooth, stable and reliable Go-Live of the Portal on the scheduled date.
This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

The final decision (Approved/ rejected) will be taken by the competent authority. No cases will be carried forward to the next CCE. |
