Sub: Nomination for National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities-2020.
Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment have invited nominations for the National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities-2019. A copy of the Advertisement inviting Applications for the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, 2020 is enclosed herewith (Details at website: www.disabilityaffairs.gov.in). Nominations/applications have been called for grant of award to individuals and to institutions in prescribed 14 categories as mentioned in advertisement. The application complete in all respects in the prescribed Performa (only in Hindi & English), duly accompanied with two recent passport size photographs of the individual nominee, should be sent to this office latest by 29.09.2020. The application and envelope should be superscripted “Nomination for National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities-2020”. Applications received either incomplete and/or after the due date and/or not recommended by the Competent Authority will not be entertained by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
