KOLKATA (PHASE – III) HOUSING SCHEME

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION: Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation (CGEWHO) is a registered Society under the aegis of Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India. CGEWHO has successfully completed construction of 32 housing projects all over India comprising 14,782 Dwelling Units (DUs). The housing scheme is announced on No-Profit No- Loss and self financing basis.
LOCATION: The site is located at Joka, South 24-Parganas, Kolkata, adjacent to IIM Kolkata (1 km), BMRI Hospital (2 km), DPS Joka (2 km), Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pailan (2 km).
ABOUT THE SCHEME: Applications are invited from Priority 1 eligible categories as under:
i) Central Government Employees: Serving or retired Central Government Employees, who are covered by the definition as given in the Clause 3 of Part B of scheme brochure, will be eligible.
ii) Spouses of deceased employees: Spouses of the deceased Central Government Employees or deceased retired employees would be eligible, if the deceased employee would have qualified by criteria (i) above.
iii) Employees of CGEWHO, with a minimum of one year of service, will be eligible.
Note : (i) 15%, 7.5% & 5% of the respective type of dwelling unit(s) will be reserved for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe & persons with disabilities of Priority-I applicants only as per CGEWHO Rule described in Clause 4 of Part-B of the Scheme Brochure.
(ii) 50% of the dwelling units are reserved for Demand Survey respondents.

SALE OF APPLICATIONS: Interested applicants may obtain the ‘CGEWHO SCHEME BROCHURE’ containing Rules & Regulation, Agreement For Sale & Application form on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash or through Bank Draft in favour of CEO, CGEWHO payable at New Delhi, from any of the following:-
(i) By downloading from CGEWHO’s official website. In such a case, Rs.500/- may be added towards cost of ‘CGEWHO SCHEME BROCHURE’ in processing fees.
(ii) CGEWHO’s site office at Kolkata (Phase III) Project at Joka South 24 Parganas, Kolkata.
(iii) CGEWHO’s Head Office at New Delhi at above address.
