OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: 4th Cadre Restructuring of the CSS/CSSS and 1st Cadre Restructuring of CSCS – Inviting proposals from the Ministries/Departments — Regarding

The undersigned is directed to refer to this department OM of even number dated 11th November, 2022 and subsequent reminder dated 29.11.2022 and 21.12.2022 on the subject mentioned above and to say that proposals for additional requirement of CSS/CSSS/CSCS officers/officials from only few Ministries/Departments have been received in this Department.

2. As the proposals of all the cadre units are urgently to be placed before the cadre restructuring committee to examine the overall requirement of all the cadre units under Central Secretariat and firm up recommendations, the remaining cadre units (Annexure) are once again requested to submit their proposals on the additional requirement of posts under CSS/CSSS/CSCS with proper justification and financial implications etc. to this department for consideration of the 4th CRC immediately by 30th January, 2023. In case, no proposal is received by 30th January, 2023, it will be presumed that the concerned Ministry/Department has no additional requirement.

3. It has been observed that some of the proposals received from the cadre units do not contain any additional requirement of posts under CSSS/CSCS. Hence, it is presumed that they have no additional requirements under the CSSS/CSCS. However, in case any cadre unit desires to seek additional posts under CSSS/CSCS, they may send their proposals in continuation of their existing proposals.

4. The proposal in this regard may be sent through email to [email protected] CC to [email protected] and [email protected].
