Sub: Modification in Annexure-A to Board’s letter dated 18.04.2012 regarding Sports Quota allocation to Zonal Railways/Production Units – reg.
Ref: (i) Board’s letter no. 2010/E(Sports)/4(1)/1(Policy) dated 31.12.2010 (RBE No. 1898/2010).
(ii) Board’s letter No. 2012/E(Sports)/4(1)/1/Policy Clarifications dated 18.04.2012 (RBE No.52/2012).
Reference is invited to Board’s letter No. 2010/E(Sports)/4(1)/1/Policy dated 31.12.2010 (RBE No. 189B/2010) read with Board’s letter No. 2012/E(Sports)/4(1)/1/Policy Clarifications dated 18.04.2012 (RBE No. 52/2012) regarding allocation of Sports Recruitment Quota to Zonal Railways/Production Units for recruitment of sportspersons.
2. Consequent upon changes in the nomenclature of Production Units, revision of pay structure under the 7th CPC and formation of South Coast Railway (SCOR), the Annexure-A to the letter mentioned at reference (ii) above, has been revised.
Accordingly, the revised Annexure-A, to Board’s letter No. 2012/E(Sports)/4(1)/1/Policy Clarifications dated 18.04.2012 (RBE No.52/2012), incorporating the following changes, is enclosed herewith for implementation:
“(i) Inclusion of South Coast Railway (SCoR) under Para 2.1.1 of Annexure-A.
(ii) Replacement of DMW by PLW and DLW by BLW under Paras 2.1.2, 2.1.5 and 2.1.6.
(ii) Replacement of the erstwhile Pay Band/Pay Scale with the corresponding 7th CPC Pay Level”.
3. This issues with the approval of DG(HR) and President/RSPB.
